The founder of Countryside Marquees; Rob originally managed a marquee hire company for a large Bedfordshire company where he gained his initial experience in the industry. He then purchased the business and launched Countryside Marquees. Over the following years Rob has built the business up, establishing it as one of the leading marquee companies in East Anglia. His experience and knowledge gained over many years has proved invaluable to customers who always appreciate the friendly and efficient service he offers. Although he no longer works on-site, Rob is still very much part of the business and always ready to help clients with any queries they may have.
Jamie became a partner in Countryside Marquees in 2012. A former pupil of Bedford School, Jamie gained a degree in business studies at Sheffield University. During his long school and university holidays he worked alongside his father, gaining valuable experience in the industry. When he left university he joined the business becoming manager in 2008 and then a partner four years later. Jamie carries out all site visits and is able to advise customers on the positioning of a marquee, the required size and also discuss in detail with the client their full requirements. Jamie is usually on site when the marquee is erected to ensure everything is perfect for the customer.
Celia became a partner in Countryside Marquees in 2000. A former journalist, she became involved in the business when its growth meant more help was needed in the office. Celia is usually the first contact clients have with Countryside Marquees, and handles all initial enquires, following up are all handled by Celia, who then follows up with a quote and any further information required. She is always available.
